We exist to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Phil Grice

My greatest achievement is...

...never letting my epilepsy stop me.

After being seizure free for more than twenty years, I did not have many achievements. Then I suddenly started having seizures again. In that time I have made a number of achievements.

1: I passed a NVQ Level 2 in Performing Manufacturing Operations.
2: I passed A First Aid at work course.
3: I passed 2 Fork Lift truck courses Counter Balance and Reach Trucks.
4: I passed a Basic IT Course.
5: I passed a Literacy Course Level 1.
6: I passed 2 Numeracy Courses Levels 1 and 2.
7: I passed a SIA Course and got my Security Guards Licence.

But best of all I under went Temple Lobe surgery last year, I have now been seizure free for more than 1 year and have got my driving licence back.

Just because people do have epilepsy, it does not mean that they can not achieve things in life, my epilepsy never stop me. It made me more determined than ever to try to be successful at what ever I do. I hope that this will persuade others to try their hand at something.
