Online Q&A session with the health secretary (Thursday 22 July)
Tomorrow, Thursday 22 July, the Secretary of State for Health will be holding a live online Question and Answer session from 10.30am.
You can find out more about the Q&A session, and take part, on the Downing Street website.
Of course, ask any question you’d like answered. But, if you live in England (the only part of the UK in which Mr Lansley has control of health services), we have a suggested question which if submitted enough times, might stand a better chance of being put to him.
In a recent Parliamentary Answer about epilepsy services, Paul Burstow MP, Minister for Health said “….research has estimated the misdiagnosis rates at around 23% with an estimated annual cost to the national health service, for England and Wales, of up to £138 million….” What will you do about this large waste of money, not to mention the dreadful effect it has on patients’ lives?
Thank you if you are able to help.
