We exist to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Fulfilling potential

The UK’s Office for Disability Issues has released a discussion project titled Fulfilling potential. This is looking at ways we can work better to enable disabled people to fulfil their potential and have opportunities to play a full role in society.

Epilepsy Action would like to hear the experiences of UK residents living with epilepsy as a disability. We are asking people to take five minutes to complete the questions below to inform our response.

Thinking about your epilepsy, do you feel other people influenced your ability to get an education, job or live independently? We’re looking for both good and bad experiences.

Because you have epilepsy, you may need help with your day-to-day life.

Do you feel you have enough choice about the help you receive? Can you give an example.

How do you think we can change the way people with epilepsy are treated?

Do you have any other comments relevant to living with epilepsy or a disability?

We need your responses by 2 March 2012. This consultation only applies to people living in the UK.

If you would like to submit your own response you will find full consultation details at http://odi.dwp.gov.uk/odi-projects/fulfilling-potential.php.

Thank you for your help in advance.
