The Celebration of Life book - Gaven Marshall
Gaven Richard Marshall
Born 18th August 1974
Son of Rodger and Valerie, Brother to Donna.
Gaven lived a full life, at school he earned the Quail Cup for the top boy in his year but obtained poorer results than he expected for his ‘O’ levels due to a period of epileptic fits whilst sitting his exams.
Gaven made up for these disappointments by attending day release school from work and obtaining his AAT and was promoted to Assistant Accountant.
Gaven was an all round sportsman, an excellent footballer winning cups and medals, a good cross-country runner, keen cricketer, a good eye for snooker and a keen supporter of Formula One Motor Racing, attending the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and sitting in a Williams Car.
Gaven was also developing into a fine musician playing the cornet. He played with the famous Rockingham Band and the South Yorkshire Police Band.
Always in our thoughts.
