A regular donation directly through your employer’s GAYE scheme is not only tax efficient and simple to set up, but can ensure more of your hard earned cash goes to those who need it the most. Whether you work or are receiving an occupational pension scheme, the GAYE scheme takes care of all the paperwork!

How does it work?

Payroll Giving or Give as you earn (GAYE) allows people paid through PAYE to make donations to Epilepsy Action - tax free.

The scheme is totally tax efficient in that the donation includes the tax that would have been deducted from your pay or occupation pension. So instead of the tax going to the Treasury it will go to Epilepsy Action.

A donation of £5.00 a month could cost you as little as £2.50 if you are a higher rate tax payer. HM Revenue and Customs pays the rest!
