Epilepsy doesn’t affect my life. I am fourteen and in high school. My life is regular, just a normal teenage life. It’s helpful to tell your friends that you have it so if you have a seizure in front of them they wouldn’t be scared. If people make fun of you they are just rude and stupid like every high school teenager is. [:

I don’t have them all the time but it scary me because I don’t know when it is going to happen. Sometimes I just wish that I didn’t have seizures but at least I learn more about my body and how it works then regular teenagers that I know. So don’t be scared to tell the people that hang out with that you have them and if they make fun of you, there not a true friend and if they were they would stand by you if you need help with your seizures.

Sincerely,

Alexandria
