Work and epilepsy - an employer's guide

This information in this section is of general use in epilepsy and employment. However, references to regulations apply to people in the UK only. If you live outside the UK, then more information about epilepsy and employment where you are will be available from your local epilepsy organisation.

In this section we have included issues that can be relevant to employers of people with epilepsy. For example, it could be useful to know about risk assessment, the role of the Disability Employment Advisor and what could be classed as ‘reasonable adjustment’ under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).
