This information applies to people in the UK only. If you live outside the UK, then more information about epilepsy and employment where you are will be available from your local epilepsy organisation.

Insurance services are covered by the Disability Discrimination Act. This means that people with epilepsy are covered in the same way as any other employee, so long as their employer has done a health and safety assessment and taken into account the person’s medical condition and the work they will be doing.
