Although I no longer have epilepsy; after I was seizure free for about 3 - 4 years I was able to start driving lessons. When I passed the test and bought a car, I had to make sure I got proper insurance. On SOME of the policies the question asked is "Do you or have you ever had any of the following" and of course 'epilepsy' is one of them. However I WAS able to find a company where the question was posed "Do you have any of the following".
That was MY way around obtaining my first insurance for driving.
