Community teams for people with learning disabilities (CTLDs)
CTLDs are made up of different professionals, such as nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists.
CTLDs help and support people with learning disabilities and are also able to refer people to other professionals, if needed. A family doctor, specialist or social worker can also refer people to local CTLDs. As a carer, you or the person you care for, can also contact CTLDs direct.
