Will I have to give up my job?

It depends what job you do, but in the UK nearly all jobs are open to people with epilepsy and you are protected by the Disability Discrimination Act. This means that employers can’t sack you from your job simply because you have epilepsy. They would have to prove that your epilepsy could cause health and safety risks to you, your colleagues or anyone in the general public. They would also have to prove that there is no way of reducing these risks.
