The research into the safety of using mobile phones, in people with epilepsy, does not give any definite results. There is no suggestion that mobile phones are a trigger of seizures, only that it may be possible. General safety information leaflets (released by the UK government) are available at mobile phone outlets. They can also be obtained directly from the Department of Health’s website.
This safety information is based on the report from the Independent Expert Group on Mobile Phones and Health (IEGMP). The report was led by Sir William Stewart (scientist) and commissioned by the UK government. It states that the balance of evidence does not suggest mobile phones are a general risk to health.
A recent study Mobile Phone Emissions and Human Brain Excitability by F Ferreri, and others, suggests that mobile phones affect the brain. Ferreri concluded that this effect is not necessarily bad and more research is needed.

ive had it sence i was 7 and i have had 3 while useing a cell phone
I'm 31 and had my first seizure around 8years ago. I have had several whilst talking on my mobile phone and try now to limit its use and avoid making calls altogether if I am feeling particularly tired/run down. Regardless of what they say has or has not been proven I know that for me personally it is definitely a trigger.
I also feel these symptoms of a seizure coming on when using a cell phone. When the industry uses phrases like "there is no definite link established", they are doing what they can to keep from being held liable. It's all legal speak.
