Sign Up online

You can sign up for the Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k and pay your entry fee online. Just complete the online application form. Alternatively you can download our application form and post it back to us.

It would be great for you to join us on the day and for you to help us make the event a huge success. If you are not a runner, then don’t worry, we have plenty of opportunities for willing volunteers to help too.

If you would like to take part in this event or help out with marshalling please contact Katie Stocks in the fundraising department at kstocks@epilepsy.org.uk or 0113 210 8800. The deadline for all entries is 14 March 2010. No entries will be accepted on the day.

The course

The race is perfect for serious as well as novice runners (to take part in the race you need to be 15 years old or over). As the course is flat, it is ideal for runners to record fast times and even personal bests (with results recorded by chip).

The ‘B Active campaign’

The Epilepsy Action Bradford 10K is supported by Bradford Council’s ‘B Active Campaign’, which was launched by the Sport and Leisure Service six years ago and is now well established and well respected in the area.

The aim of the campaign is to encourage all of Bradford’s residents to be more physically active regardless of their age or ability, to raise awareness of the benefits of regular exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle and to develop, through investment, new and improved sports facilities across the district.

The Sports and Leisure Service have also agreed to officially include the event as part of Bradford’s 2012 Olympic programme of events and activities.
