Money for your mobile

Epilepsy Action is working with Community Fonebak, a scheme set up to help collect unwanted mobile phones and accessories.

Epilepsy Action will benefit from the scheme by receiving £4 for every mobile phone sent to us that can be refurbished and resold to people living in developing countries.

There are an estimated 45 million mobile phone subscribers in the UK and 15 million phones are replaced each year. Millions of phones end up in drawers and cupboards or in landfill where they can potentially harm the environment.

If you would like to support the scheme and have any old and/or unwanted mobile phones and accessories please send them to us and we will arrange for the phones to be recycled. It should cost no more that £1 to post a mobile phone second-class within the UK and you will be helping to raise vital funds for Epilepsy Action.
