Wearing of wetsuits
- Wetsuits are MANDATORY below 14C
- Wetsuits are be OPTIONAL at 14C+
- Wetsuits are forbidden at 22C+ (for 1,500m distance)
Swim temperatures/distances
- If the temperate is 12C then 1000m is the longest distance allowed (i.e. the 1,500m swim will be reduced)
- If the temperature is 11C all competitors have to do the 500m distance as this is the longest allowed
- If the temperature is below 11C the event will be postponed/cancelled
