There isn’t just one reason to take part in the Rutland Water Swim, there are 600,000! That’s the number of people living with epilepsy in the UK right now.

The Rutland Water Swim 2013 is planned for Sunday 8 September. Details are being finalised and will be posted here in the coming weeks. In the meantime to register your interest please email swim@epilepsy.org.uk

When: Sunday 8 September 2013 - registration is between 7.30am and 8.45am
Where: Rutland Watersports Centre, Whitwell, Oakham, Rutland LE15 8BL
Distance: To be confirmed

Sponsorship: Due to the limited places available on this event we are encouraging people to aim to raise as much as they can to support Epilepsy Action. Why not set yourself a goal of £100? 
Minimum age: 15 years of age

About the Rutland Water Swim

Make a splash this summer by taking part in the second ever charity swim in stunning Rutland Water. 

Set in 4,200 acres of open countryside, Rutland Water is the UK’s largest reservoir in surface area and the main rural attraction in England’s smallest county. The area is a haven for wildlife and outdoor activities.

  • All routes well marked and patrolled by canoe
  • High safety levels with on-water canoes and first aid on site
