About the National 3 Peaks 24 Hour Challenge
Looking to join a team to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge this year? Taking in the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales, the challenge is to complete all three within 24 hours! The challenge is a superb test of mind, body and spirit!
We provide the transport, a fully qualified guide and the best bacon roll in the lakes, you provide the rest!
Starting in Fort William, the first challenge is the brooding mass of Ben Nevis. On completion you will head directly to the Lake District for phase two, Scafell Pike -completed in the dark! On completion you head off for the final leg, up the steep slopes of Snowdon in Wales.
This event teams-up individuals and small groups with other like-minded walkers to complete the challenge as a team of up to 12 participants.
Itinerary
Saturday
- 10am - Meet in Fort William for a safety brief and kit check
- 11pm - Start ascent of Ben Nevis
- 4pm - Return to vehicles for drive to the Lakes
- 10pm - Arrive Wasdale Head. Start ascent of Scafell Pike
Sunday
- 2.30am - Return to vehicle for breakfast and drive to Snowdonia
- 7am – Arrive Llanberis Pass and start ascent of Snowdon
- 10.59am - Finish!
Please note that these timings are approximate. Teams will walk at the pace of the slowest person and for this reason the timings above cannot be guaranteed
