We exist to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Diamond Projects

Diamond Projects logo

To mark our Diamond Jubilee, Epilepsy Action is launching an exciting new funding scheme to improve the lives of people with epilepsy.

Diamond Projects provides opportunities to reflect the broad spectrum of epilepsy. We hope the scheme leads to a long lasting legacy of success as projects deliver their goals in the future.

The aim is to identify and support a minimum of 10 community based projects a year. Grants of up to £5,000 will be allocated to projects. We hope that the grants will support local projects that may not otherwise happen.

There will be three application rounds a year and projects will be consistent with Epilepsy Action’s objectives. They can be original developments, or additions to existing work.

Next round of applications

Please contact Philip Lee om 0113 210 8800 or email plee@epilepsy.org.uk to discuss the next round of applications.

Applications will be accepted from:

  • Voluntary and community groups

  • Not for profit organisation with an interest in epilepsy (for example, epilepsy charities), improving the lives of people with epilepsy
  • Schools – We will not pay for activities or services that schools have a statutory responsibility to provide
  • Health bodies such as Primary Care Trusts, local health boards, local health trusts, NHS Hospital Trusts – We will not pay for activities or services that they have a statutory responsibility to provide
