Organise your own event
Fundraising events help to raise awareness of epilepsy as well as raising money for Epilepsy Action. Holding your own fundraising event offers the chance to have fun, meet people and make a difference.
This is a brilliant opportunity to be creative and innovative, as you’ll be organising your own event. People in the past have organised a Hollywood theme fancy dress party, netball match, ‘a play in a day’ and many more. If you would like more ideas please see
the A-Z of fundraising.
Holding a fundraising event is not only a great way to raise funds but also to raise awareness of epilepsy and the charity.
If you would like to find out more about organising your own event you can see our Fundraising Guide and A-Z of fundraising. This will give you the essential information for you to get started and hopefully give you some ideas.
If you would like to find out more about fundraising for Epilepsy Action please contact Eleanor Smith in the fundraising department on 0113 210 8800 or email her at esmith@epilepsy.org.uk.
