Life assurance

Epilepsy Action works with Tyfin Capital Planning Ltd to help our UK-based members and their families find life assurance (also called life insurance) at a competitive price.

Cover

The policy offers a guaranteed pay out on death, or on diagnosis of a critical illness if this additional cover is chosen, of £10,000 to £500,000. As with other life assurance and critical illness products you can choose whether the benefits remain the same throughout or decrease over the term of the policy.

Please be aware that you only pay for life asssurance and critical illness cover. These policies have no savings element and would have no cash value if the policy ceases before the end of the policy term or at the end of the policy term.

Eligibility

This scheme is exclusively available to members of Epilepsy Action. You must also be aged 18-70 and resident in the UK.

No medical is automatically required, providing you can answer a few simple questions, irrespective of occupation, smoking habits or diagnosis of epilepsy.
