The Gift Of A Lifetime

Mother and Child

Epilepsy Action has achieved a lot in the last 50 years, but we still have a long way to go. There is still a very real need to provide help, information and support to people whose lives are affected by epilepsy. And we need to continue to campaign for ever improving treatment, care and understanding.

By leaving money to Epilepsy Action in your Will you can help ensure a brighter future for people with epilepsy. Act today and you could help us to:

  • Make the voice of epilepsy even louder, ensuring that we are heard and that politicians and health professionals act when we shout! Our campaigning works on many levels. We work closely with government and health professionals through parliamentary groups and seminars, as well as actively challenging established views of epilepsy through the media and face to face with the public.
  • Fund valuable research into the social and welfare impacts of epilepsy that could lead to changes in society’s attitudes and behaviour towards people with epilepsy. We have already achieved positive changes around epilepsy and driving, there is a growing understanding of epilepsy and pregnancy and our research is informing new materials for school children, teenagers and older people.

Your legacy.... helping to create a brighter future for people whose lives are affected by epilepsy.

"For the first time since diagnosis (5 years ago) I felt included and listened to."

"The discussion forum has made a difference to my life, I have a positive attitude, and from listening to others I realise that we are all there for each other. I have learnt so much (about epilepsy) that when I see my neurologist I am confident and will challenge my treatment.”
