Why You Should Make A Will
No-one is obliged to make a Will. In fact, plenty of people don’t bother. However if you want to plan for the future, and save your loved ones much distress and time later on, a Will is a very good idea.
If you make a Will, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that your affairs are in order. You will also know what will happen to all your money and valued possessions. Without a Will, the people you really want to benefit might miss out and, if you have no relatives, everything will automatically go to the state.
Making a Will, and keeping it up to date, means that you can look after the future of those you love, whether that is providing for your children, for other family members, or friends. Making a Will also gives you the chance to remember an organisation or charity. It is an ideal way to help others in need.
If your estate is large enough, there may also be significant tax advantages in making a Will.
