Mazda London Triathlon
9 and 10 August 2008
Thank you to all our Triathlon team who raised a fantastic amount for Epilepsy Action and who all achieved amazing times.
2009 Date to be confirmed.
The triathlon involves a continuous race comprising of a swim, followed by a cycle, and then a run.
Competitors race against the clock, which starts as they enter the swim and stops as they cross the finish line after the run. The clock never stops, even during the transition between the different elements of the race.
The London Triathlon is an amazing challenge but you don’t have to be super-fit to compete. As there are a variety of races, there is something to suit everybody, from novice first-timers to experienced triathletes.
If you wish to enter as an individual then you must complete all three legs of the race (the swim, race and run) yourself. You can choose whether you want to enter the sprint, olympic or super sprint category.

If you would like one of our guaranteed charity places, then we ask all competitors to pledge to raise a minimum of £400 for Epilepsy Action, with an additional £50 registration fee. In return, we will be happy to help and support you every step of the way and will supply you with a runner’s pack, including a FREE running vest, sponsorship forms, a training programme and all the fundraising advice that you can handle!
Alternatively, you can apply for an independent place through the official London Triathlon entry system, online at www.thelondontriathlon.com and then follow the links for entry information. If you are able to get a place and you wish to run on behalf of Epilepsy Action, then we will still provide you with all the team benefits, but you will not be committed to raising a minimum sponsorship. Once you have secured your own place, please get in touch.
