The challenge
This unique, triathlon style experience will take you through lush rainforest, to high mountain summits and along fast flowing rivers. You will also go through tropical jungles, the home of Borneo's long standing residents, the magnificent Orang-utan.
The trip begins with a two day trek to the summit of the highest mountain in South East Asia, Mount Kinabalu, in order to see the sunrise. Standing at 4,095 metres (13,435 feet), this mountain is the focal point of the stunning Kinabalu National Park and dominates the skyline of Borneo.
The second leg of the triathlon challenge then begins - to cycle 106 miles (170km) over two days through the breathtaking Crocker Range, known as the 'Spine of Sabah'. This testing ride will take you past many villages enabling you to see local life first hand and providing a great back drop to a fantastic cycling route.
The amazing end to the challenge will be white water rafting down the Padas River - a white knuckle ride you will remember forever.
