Parachuting and white-water rafting

What can I do?

We are looking for adventurous people from all over the UK to help raise funds for us by making an exhilarating 10,000 ft freefall tandem parachute jump.

Or how about a static line parachute jump where you will get to jump solo from up to 3,000 ft. And for the really adventurous of you why not try an accelerated freefall, where you will have a full day’s training from two qualified instructors before you skydive 10,000 ft - just like the real thing!

No experience is required for these events and if you raise the minimum amount of sponsorship you will get to take part for free!

I have epilepsy, can I take part?

If you have epilepsy and would like to take part in a tandem parachute jump (this means sharing of a parachute with a professional) you can do so if:

  • you have been seizure free for the last two years, and

  • you have not had any changes in your medication during this period.

Unfortunately anyone who has a history of epilepsy is unable to do a solo parachute jump.

How can I sign up?

If you are interested check out some of the great photos from people who have recently jumped for us.

Do you want to go white-water rafting?

If parachuting is not for you then why not get a team together and try white water rafting?

How can I find out more?

For more information on these events please contact the fundraising events team on 0113 210 8800 or email events@epilepsy.org.uk.
