Thank You!

National Tea Break 2008 took place on Friday 17th October and was a huge success. There have been Tea Breaks held all across the country and, so far, they have raised over £11,000 with the money still flooding in! We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who organised or supported a National Tea Break.

Friday 23 October 2009

National Tea Break is an annual opportunity to raise much needed funds for Epilepsy Action by simply drinking tea and eating cake. We’d really like you to join in the fun by organising a Tea Break!

If this sounds daunting, don’t worry because each year we produce an organiser’s starter pack to help you every step of the way. The pack gives you hints and tips on how to make your event a success and is packed full of all sorts of goodies. These include delicious recipes from celebrities such as comedians Stephen Fry and Victoria Wood, top chef Alan Coxon and fitness expert Rosemary Conley.

When does it happen?

Next year’s National Tea Break will be held on Friday 23 October 2009 but don’t worry if you can’t do it then, just organise it for a date that best suits you. Many of you have already expressed your interest in National Tea Break 2009 and we look forward to brewing up with you again next year!

Who can organise a Tea Break?

Anyone!

Christine, who organised a tea break last year, has made a video about why she got involved with the event!

Where are Tea Breaks held?

You can hold your Tea Break in your home, community centre, school, workplace or anywhere else you would like to!
We have had Tea Break events all over the UK, from the Shetlands to Cornwall.
