The challenge
Majestic Mount Snowdon dominates the glorious ancient landscape of north Wales. At 1,085 metres (3,560 feet), it sits high above the beautiful Llanberis Pass and is surrounded by magnificent scenery.
The route to the summit will follow the Pyg Track, passing the towering outline of Crib Goch, stopping along the way to enjoy the breathtaking views. After enjoying lunch on the summit, you will descend the mountain by a different route via the Miners track, passing the shining waters of Glaslyn and Llyn Llydaw.
Itinerary
- Meet at 10.00am at Pen y Pass near Llanberis
- Safety briefing
- Set off on the Snowdon Challenge, heading up the mountain via the Pyg track
- After enjoying lunch on the summit, you will descend the mountain by a different route, the Miners track

- A detailed safety briefing before the event

- Travel to and from Llanberis
- Packed lunch and snacks during the walk
- If participants wish to stay before or after the event, they will need to organise their own accommodation
