Raise serious ‘wonga’ for Epilepsy Action by organising a Wonga Walk, helping raise vital funds for the 456,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.

What is a Wonga Walk?

To mark National Epilepsy Week 2011 (15 – 22 May), join thousands of people up, down and across the UK, donning their walking boots to raise awareness as well as vital funds in aid of Epilepsy Action.

Wonga walkIn 2010 the Wonga Walks helped raise over £20,000. This year we need even more dedicated Wonga Walk organiser’s to help beat last year’s fundraising total and help the 456,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.

Being a Wonga Walk organiser is easy. Anyone can organise a walk, however great or small the distance. So why not sign up today?

In the past we have had walks anywhere from city centres, National Parks and reservoirs, to race circuits, country house gardens and along the seafront.

To be a Wonga Walk organiser, all you need to do is register now to receive a copy of our walk organiser’s guide, packed full of hints and tips to help get you started. For more information on this year’s Wonga Walks, you can contact us at events@epilepsy.org.uk or telephone +44 (0)113 210 8800.
