Epanutin infatabs 50mg are now back in stock
11 January 2010
Pfizer have advised us that Epanutin infatabs, 50mg, are out of stock. This is because there was a failure with the last batch they produced.
This drug is due to be available again in April 2010. Until then, anybody who takes this drug should seek advice about alternative medication from their own doctor or epilepsy specialist.
18 February 2010
We have been told by Pfizer that around 400 people in the UK take Epanutin Infatabs and may be affected by this.
The information sent to us by Pfizer can be found in this letter from Pfizer [PDF]..
We are awaiting official Department of Health guidance for anyone affected by this. This guidance will be put on this page as soon as we receive it.”
