Submitted by Mark@Epilepsy Action on 21 November, 2007 - 10:00.
Eisai has recently released, in the UK, a new anti-epileptic drug Inovelon (its generic name is rufinamide). It is used for seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome in patients aged four years and older. Inovelon is licensed to be added to existing anti-epileptic drugs but is not licensed as a single drug treatment.
