Are you the parent or guardian of a child with epilepsy living in the UK? We need your help

19 November, 2010

If so, help us by taking part in a telephone interview

We are taking a whole new look at what we do online for children and young people. We want to deliver a clear and well targeted online resource for those with epilepsy. To do the best possible job, we need to consult with children and young people with epilepsy, their brothers and sisters, and parents and carers.

How can you help?

Our web partner, hey moscow, will be carrying out some telephone interviews on our behalf.  We want the interviews to be with parents of children with epilepsy in the UK. Each interview would take around 15-30 minutes and the aim would be to find out:

  • What type of materials would they find useful to help them explain epilepsy issues
  • How they did it offline
  • What worked for them and what didn’t work for them

As part of the process, we will contact you in advance and explain what we would like to talk about and why we're doing it.  We’d also like to ask if your child could give feedback too. They will be offered the choice of doing a phone interview (with a parent or guardian present) or an online survey.

When will the interviews take place?

We'll plan them so they're at a time that's convenient to you.  We want to have all the interviews done by the end of November.

What’s in it for you?

You will be helping us develop the best possible online service for young people with epilepsy.
