'Blood and Guts'

21 August, 2008

Thanks to Jo who runs our online community for pointing out a TV documentary about brain surgery that was shown on British TV last night. Luckily, for those of us who missed it, will be shown again tonight (Thursday 21st) and is available on the BBC iPlayer.

'Blood and Guts: A History of Surgery' is a new BBC Four series, and one of the people shown in this first episode was a woman who was having surgery to treat her epilepsy.

The show is being repeated tonight, Thursday 21st, at 10pm and 3am on BBC Four. It's also available online, just for people in the UK, on the BBC iPlayer for the next seven days. The BBC have labelled the programme with a 'Graphic medical scenes' warning.

Oh, and there's also a story about the programme on the BBC News website.

Happy viewing,
Mark @ Epilepsy Action
