Pfizer, the company that makes Epanutin Infatabs 50mg Chewable Tablets (phenytoin), have provided new information about the instructions for taking your Infatabs.

The old information said to chew or swallow them whole with plenty of water.

The new information instructs you to chew your infatab tablet before swallowing.

Your pharmacist should give you a letter about this when you get your Infatab prescription.
