Postal strike information (2 November 2009)

2 November, 2009

Epilepsy Action relies on the generosity of the public and businesses for around 90 per cent of its income. Without this support many of our essential services would not be possible.

The Royal Mail postal strike will inevitably affect donations coming into Epilepsy Action by post.  We’d like to reassure donors that, although mail is taking longer than usual to reach us, it will arrive. There is no need to worry about sending donations to us via Royal Mail.

You might be interested to know however, that you can donate here on our website or over the phone by calling 0113 210 8800.

Updated 9 November 2009: There are now going to be no postal strikes until at least Christmas.  Postal services should now be getting back to normal.
