The Prime Minister, Rt Hon. David Cameron MP, will meet with a group of epilepsy representatives, including charities, to discuss the condition.
This was announced in response to question put to him by the Member of Parliament for Walsall South, Valarie Vaz MP, at Prime Ministers’ Questions earlier today.
Ms Vaz asked the Prime Minister about avoidable epilepsy deaths and support for her Ten Minute Rule Bill. In his reply, he agreed to meet with Ms Vaz, Professor Helen Cross, and the Joint Epilepsy Council to discuss the issues. Epilepsy Action is a member of the Joint Epilepsy Council.
