Volunteers from Epilepsy Action’s Stockton branch will be helping to bring epilepsy “Out in the Open” for this years National Epilepsy Week (18-25 May) by holding a number of events.

The Stockport branch of Epilepsy Action, is to hold a meeting with a talk by a leading epilepsy specialist from 7.00pm-9.00pm on Wednesday May 7, 2008.
The Durham and District branch of Epilepsy Action is to hold a conference on Saturday April 5. The event will run from 9:00am - 3:00pm at Durham County Hall, Durham County Council.

Epilepsy Action has been approached by a documentary production company who are developing a film for Channel 4 focussing on young carers in the UK. The company are looking to work with children aged 9-14 years who are just about the only carer for another family member with epilepsy.
