The UK’s leading member-led epilepsy charity, Epilepsy Action, is joining forces with Well Being in North Norfolk (WINN) to hold a seminar on epilepsy.
The event, which will take place on Monday, May 21 at St John’s Ambulance Hall, Bond Street, Cromer, from 10.30am to 2.00pm, is open to people with epilepsy, their families, carers, friends or anyone interested in finding out more about the condition.
Speakers will include Dee Ellery, an epilepsy specialist nurse, and Cath Lister, an Epilepsy Action accredited volunteer. Epilepsy Action branch volunteers and WINN staff will be on hand throughout the day to provide epilepsy advice and information. It is hoped the event will also promote interest in forming an Epilepsy Action branch in Cromer.
Epilepsy Action’s regional services manager for central England, David Powell, said: “The event will give people the chance to ask questions about epilepsy and to share their experiences with others.”
Entry to the event is free and includes light refreshments. Leaflets about epilepsy will be available to take away.
