Guildhall tea dancers show their generosi-tea

15 October, 2009

Tea dancers are preparing to put the kettle on for Epilepsy Action's National Tea Break at The Cambridge Guildhall on Wednesday 21 October 2009. This is one of a series of Tea Dances held at the Guildhall for senior citizens- but the 21st October will be extra special with money being raised for this very worthwhile charity, Epilepsy Action.

The event has been organised as part of Epilepsy Action’s seventh National Tea Break. National Tea Break aims to raise vital funds to help support the 456,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.

Hundreds of people from all over the UK will take part in these annual events. Since 2003, 800 Tea Breaks have taken place, raising an impressive £88,000 to help fund the vital information and advice services provided by Epilepsy Action. This year the charity hopes to make National Tea Break the biggest yet and break the £100,000 barrier.
