Epilepsy Action Seminar in London (Barnet)

4 May, 2007

Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led charity, is holding a disability rights seminar in Trinity Church Centre, Nether Street, Finchley, on Tuesday May 21 from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.

Guest speaker will be David Ruebain, disability rights lawyer, talking about disability, discrimination and epilepsy. For further details, contact Ginny on 020 8445 8724.

Susan Mistry, Epilepsy Action’s regional services manager for London and the South East, said: “These kinds of events help raise awareness and give new insights into epilepsy. The evening will give people in the London area affected by epilepsy an opportunity to find out useful information, and gain advice on issues they may have.”

It is hoped that the event will encourage people with an interest in epilepsy to attend meetings and become involved in raising awareness of epilepsy in the area.
