Fulham woman attempts marathon challenge for epilepsy

14 April, 2009

Melanie De Wit from Fulham is taking part in the Flora London Marathon on Sunday 26 April in aid of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.

Melanie will be among thousands to attempt the challenging 26.2 mile run in a bid to help support the 456,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.

Melanie said: “I have epilepsy myself so I know how hard it can be at times, and how important the support from Epilepsy Action really is. I want to raise as much money as possible to help the charity provide vital advice, information and support to other people living with epilepsy.”

To show your support for Melanie, please visit www.justgiving.com/marathonmel and donate online. The money raised by Melanie will help fund the vital advice and information services provided by the charity.
