World Renowned Professors Speak In East London

13 August, 2008

The East London Branch of Epilepsy Action has invited three world-renowned epilepsy specialists to speak at its public seminar on Thursday August 28. The event will run from 7.00pm-9.15pm at the St John’s Church Centre, The Broadway, Stratford, London, E15.

The seminar, entitled “Epilepsy Treatment”, will feature talks from three consultant neurologists from the National Hospital, Queen Square, London. Professors Simon Shorvon, Ley Sander and John Duncan will each cover a different aspect of living with epilepsy and the treatments available. This is an ideal opportunity for people with an interest in epilepsy to learn more.

Susan Mistry, regional services manager for London and the South East, said: “We are extremely lucky to have such an eminent group of epilepsy specialists to talk about different aspects of epilepsy and its treatment. It's a fantastic opportunity to hear the latest news about epilepsy treatment in a relaxed atmosphere.”
