New PR and Campaigns Manager at Epilepsy Action

3 January, 2008

Melanie Hill has been appointed Public Relations and Campaigns Manager at Epilepsy Action.

The charity, the UK’s largest member led epilepsy organisation, directly helped over 660,000 people last year, through its range of services.

Melanie previously worked as a Media and PR Officer for West Yorkshire Police and before that spent seven years as a journalist.

She will work within the Communications Department at Epilepsy Action, managing the PR and Campaigns team, to generate increased awareness of epilepsy and campaign for improved services for people affected by the condition.

Melanie said: “I am delighted to be joining Epilepsy Action. This organisation is highly regarded for its campaigning skills in improving the quality of life for people living with epilepsy. I’m looking forward to working with the team here, delivering campaigns that raise awareness of epilepsy and promote the interests of people living with the condition.”
