New Public Relations Manager At Epilepsy Action

8 December, 2008

Aimee Bowen has been appointed public relations manager at Epilepsy Action.

Aimee previously worked as corporate fundraiser at Heart Research UK and, before that, in the press office at Brake, the national road safety charity.

She will work in the communications department at Epilepsy Action, managing the PR team to raise awareness of epilepsy and promote campaigns and fundraising events.

Epilepsy is a serious neurological condition that affects more than 456,000 in the UK. Epilepsy Action is the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation and directly helped more than 731,000 people last year, including people with epilepsy, their carers and health professionals.

Aimee said: “Epilepsy Action has a great reputation and I am delighted to be part of the team. I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues to raise awareness of a condition that affects so many people and can have such an impact on their lives.”
