Epilepsy Advice and Information Day in Hexham

22 February, 2008

The Tynedale branch of Epilepsy Action is holding an advice and information day on Friday March 7 between 10.00am and 4.00pm, at Robbs of Hexham, Priestpopple, Hexham, Northumberland.

The aim of the friendly and informal day is to provide advice and information on epilepsy to people with an interest in the condition, and to raise awareness of the support available for people living with epilepsy in the region.

Bob Dennis, Epilepsy Action’s regional services manager in the North East, said: “The event is aimed at providing people living with epilepsy, along with their carers and family, with the opportunity to find out more about the condition. If this is a subject that interests you, please come along and you will be made very welcome.”

Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, has an extensive network of branches throughout the UK. The branches hold regular meetings and offer a variety of social events and informative talks and discussions relating to epilepsy. The meetings also offer the opportunity for people to talk to others who understand what it is like to live with epilepsy and raise awareness of the condition in the local community.
