Epilepsy Action holds talk on welfare benefits (Blackburn)

The Blackburn and Hyndburn branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity, is holding a talk on welfare benefits on Wednesday February 27 between 7.00pm and 9.00pm. The event will be held at Blackburn Central Library, Northgate Entrance, Blackburn.

Lee Middlehurst, Customer Services Manager at Hyndburn District Council will be providing people from the Blackburn area with the chance to gain information about the benefits that are available to them.

Pauline Breckell, Chair of the Blackburn and Hyndburn branch said: “Lee’s presentation will be extremely informative and will provide people in the area with the opportunity to gain advice and information about the available welfare benefits for people with epilepsy and their families.”

The evening is open to anyone, whether a person with epilepsy, a parent or carer, family member or friend. Epilepsy Action has an extensive network of branches throughout the UK, which are run by volunteers.

The Epilepsy Action Blackburn and Hyndburn branch meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm at the Blackburn Central Library.
