Epilepsy Action Salford branch is holding an information evening on Tuesday May 15 from 7pm until 9pm in the Patricroft Working Men’s Club, in Eccles. Epilepsy Action is the UK’s largest member-led charity.
Guest speaker will be Dr Peter Clough, consultant neurologist at Hope Hospital, Manchester, who will talk about epilepsy and answer questions on the condition. For further details, contact Rita Nicholas, chair of the Salford branch.
Annie Thompson, Epilepsy Action’s regional services manager, said: “There are always new insights to be gleaned from events such as this one. The evening will give people in the Salford area affected by epilepsy an opportunity to find out really useful information and meet people in a similar situation.”
Epilepsy Action Salford branch members will be available to offer information about branch activities. It is hoped that the event will encourage people with an interest in epilepsy to attend meetings and become involved in raising awareness of epilepsy in the area.
