The Pendle branch of Epilepsy Action is to hold a meeting on Monday 11 May, to support people affected by epilepsy in the area.
The meeting will run from 7.30pm to 9.00pm at the Marsden Resource Centre, Rigby Street, Nelson and is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy.
Speaking at the meeting will be Carrie Walker, who has recently been appointed as an epilepsy specialist nurse to work with GP practices in Pendle.
Susan Reis, secretary of the Pendle branch, said: “We are hoping that people can come to the meeting to find out more about Carrie’s work providing clinics, home visits, advice, and education regarding epilepsy.”
