Epilepsy Seminar In Bolton

4 July, 2008

Epilepsy Action is holding a meeting on Wednesday July 18 with a view to forming a new branch in Bolton to provide support for people living with epilepsy in the area.

The meeting, entitled “Living with Epilepsy”, will run from 7.00pm-9.00pm at the Walker Suite, Victoria Hall, 37-39 Knowsley Street, Bolton, and will feature a talk from Annie Thompson, Epilepsy Action’s regional services manager for north west England and Yorkshire. The seminar will also include an informative DVD and discussion about separating epilepsy facts from fiction.

Annie said “We are hoping to set up a new support group in the Bolton area to offer ongoing support and information to people affected by epilepsy. We’re looking to form a strong network of volunteers following this meeting to help in the building of a solid support service. If you are interested in getting involved, please come along and you will be made very welcome.”

The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy, including people living with the condition, their friends, family and carers. Anyone who is interested in attending the meeting, or who would like further information about Epilepsy Action should contact Lynne on 01904 426479.
