The Oldham Branch of national charity, Epilepsy Action, is holding an evening meeting on Thursday May 31 at 7.30pm at the Walk-in Centre on John Street in Oldham.
The Epilepsy Action video, ‘The Right Stuff’, will be shown at the meeting to educate and to encourage people to challenge the various facts and myths surrounding epilepsy.
Annie Thompson , regional services manager for North West England and Yorkshire, said: “The Epilepsy Action Oldham Branch will meet every last Thursday in the month. Everyone with an interest in epilepsy is welcome to attend and find out more about the condition”.
This is only the third meeting of the new Oldham branch, who are appealing for people to help on the branch committee. Anyone interested should contact Annie Thompson on 01904 426479.
