Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is taking part in the networking day at Llanelli Festival.
The event takes place on Saturday 20 August from 9.00am until 4.00pm at the Selwyn Samuel Centre in Llanelli.
Local Llanelli Branch officers will be on hand to provide information about epilepsy to festival revellers. Information will be available to take away on a range of subjects.
Ann Sivapatham, Epilepsy Action’s Wales manager, said: “Epilepsy Action is pleased to be involved in the Llanelli town festival. Our Llanelli Branch has been in existence for nearly 20 years. Come along to our stand and say “hello”. A warm welcome is waiting for you! If you have been involved in our branch but no longer attend, come along and see what we have been doing.”
Anyone who is interested in the event, or the Llanelli Branch, should contact Keith on 01554 776719.
Epilepsy Action has an extensive network of branches throughout the UK. Branches hold regular meetings and offer a variety of social events and informative talks and discussions
relating to epilepsy. Epilepsy Action’s Llanelli Branch meets on the second Wednesday of the month at Hafan-Morfa, Llanelli from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
